How this section works
A news page here is not a wire story. It exists when a term starts getting searched and the existing results are thin, out of date, or all pointing at the same press release. Before writing one we check what currently ranks, what the official source actually says, and whether there is something the announcement itself does not cover: measured numbers, a working install path, or a straight answer to what it replaces.
Every update links to at least one permanent page, because a news page that only links to itself earns a spike and then nothing. Where a claim comes from a vendor benchmark or a third-party report, the page says so in the sentence rather than implying we measured it. When a release turns out to matter less than the search volume suggested, the page is updated rather than quietly deleted.
