Reading the site
Reading any free page requires no account and sets no advertising cookie. We use aggregate page-view counts — no cross-site tracking, no profile building, no selling of anything to anyone.
What we collect when you subscribe
- Email address. Used to sign you in and to send receipts and renewal notices.
- Subscription status. Whether your membership is active, and the period it covers.
- Payment data — we never see it. Card details go straight to the merchant of record that processes the payment. We receive only a status and an invoice reference.
What we do not collect
No phone number, no postal address, no date of birth, no social profile, no device fingerprint. We do not embed third-party ad networks or session-recording scripts.
How long data is kept
Subscription records are kept while the membership is active and for twelve months after it ends, because tax law requires the invoice trail. After that the personal fields are deleted and only anonymised totals remain.
Your rights
Ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Deletion removes the account and the email; we keep only the minimum invoice record we are legally required to keep. Write to [email protected] and we will action it within 30 days.
Cookies
Two cookies exist, both functional: one keeps you signed in, one remembers whether you have dismissed a notice. Neither is used for advertising, and clearing them simply signs you out.
Processors we rely on
Hosting and content delivery, email delivery, and a merchant of record for payments. Each receives only what it needs to do its job, and none of them may use your data for their own marketing.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly keep their data. If you believe a child has subscribed, write to us and the account will be removed and refunded.
